Successful organisation of the eCOTOOL School
The School “Designing and Exploiting Certified Competence-based VET Curricula in Agriculture, Food & Environment“ took place at the library of Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEIA), Greece, from the 28th of February to the 5th of March. The School was organised with a great success by the consortium of the EU project e-Competences TOOLs (www.competencetools.eu) and supported by the Grundtvig sub-programme of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).
Main objectives of the School were the enhancement of the trainees’ understanding of the concepts of skills and competences, participants’ appreciation of how competence models, when supported by IT tools, can improve the opportunities of vocational education and training curricula design, and development and future trainers’ knowledge on how this information can be applied in several case studies. At the end of the School, a certification of attendance was given to all participants.
